Details for the new Sky Muster Plus Premium Plans.
- The introduction of 2 new Sky Muster Plus Premium plans that offer 24 x 7 uncapped data usage
- An entry level plan at 25/5 Mbps PIR with no ability to burst
- A mid-tier plan at 50/5 Mbps PIR with ability to burst on the uplink to 10Mbps from time to time in optimal conditions
- A change to the downstream Access Rate for the current Sky Muster Plus Premium Plan to 100 Mbps PIR for downstream (currently 25 Mbps with Supplementary Burst of up to 100 Mbps)
- A static public IP address option (at additional per month cost)
- Activation of TC-1 by default on all services to allow voice traffic to be prioritised within the boundary of the satellite network
- A change to allow up to 4 Sky Muster Plus services to be activated on a single NTD, subject to the existing maximum aggregate throughput for an NTD of 100 Mbps downstream and 20 Mbps upstream
^Your experience, including speeds, depends on whether you are using the internet during the busy period, concurrent usage, specific locations from time to time and, some factors outside of nbn’s control (like your equipment, software or signal reception). You may also experience latency.
#Fair Use Policy and shaping apply. To proactively protect and ensure the fair access to the nbn network for all users, nbn may from time to time, at its discretion, shape the following activities to maximum wholesale upload and download speeds of 256kbps; uploads and downloads via peer to peer; uploads and downloads to cloud storage platforms; PC and smartphone operating system updates; software/application updates; gaming software updates; any other traffic related to applications which nbn cannot identify. Other activity that nbn considers may cause adverse network impacts may also be added to the above list to be shaped, including streaming video and VPN.
&nbn does not guarantee that plans on Sky Muster Plus Premium will achieve burst wholesale upload speeds of up to 10Mbps. Faster upload speeds are subject to network capacity and your equipment.
